FPO Distinctions — Requirements & Fees

Once you're a member, every accepted photograph earns points toward these internationally recognized FPO titles. Distinctions are claimed on your profile once you qualify.

Note: because a single accepted title is capped at 15 counted acceptances, the practical minimum number of distinct titles needed is often higher than the number shown above — the system checks both the point total and the distinct-title count independently before a distinction can be claimed. Visionary FPO (V FPO) is not earned on points at all. It asks for Grand Master FPO first, and then for the work itself: thirty titles FPO has awarded at two different salons each, ten of them carrying two FPO medals, drawn from at least thirty salons in all. Awards of other patronages do not count towards it. The FPO Art Council — three members named by the author and two by FPO — may write a review of the finished collection at the author's invitation; that review is an honour, and never a condition of the distinction.
